Duke M. Truong, Esq.
Professionalism. Excellence. Timeliness.
Duke's unwavering belief in the importance of family unity and his dedication to resolving intricate legal matters fueled his ambition to become a lawyer. Through years of intensive learning and mentorship from two distinguished family law specialists, he embarked on a mission to establish Golden State Law, APC (GSL) and has been practicing since 2021. His passion lies in empowering those who may be less fortunate to comprehend their rights and responsibilities under the law. Duke is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of others through his work as a lawyer.
GSL opened its doors to help clients deal with challenges that has caused their families to separate. With that goal in mind, GSL’s practice is primarily focused on family law but the firm also handles immigration cases on occasion. GSL operates as a hybrid law office where innovative modern technology is utilized to provide flexible services that exceeds the needs of its clients.

Duke’s commitment to community service is exemplified by his extensive pro bono work with Legal Access Alameda, a subsidiary of the Alameda County Bar Association. He frequently volunteers for the Community Legal Assistance Saturday Program (CLASP) and the Family Law Clinic. In addition to his volunteer efforts, Duke serves as Of Counsel for the City of San Jose, where he guides MEF Local 101 union members through the complexities of the judicial system.

Duke holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the California State University East Bay and a juris doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law. Outside of law, Duke enjoys hiking, gardening, golfing, reading, and quality time with family.
